Delete your workspace or account

Export what you need, then permanently delete a workspace or your whole OmniLead account.

3 min readLast updated

You can delete a single workspace or your entire account at any time. Deletion is permanent: we can't restore a deleted workspace. Export anything you want to keep first, and cancel any paid plan so you aren't charged again.

Before you delete: export your data

  1. Export your leads

Open Pipeline or a list, select the leads (or none, to export everything), then click Export and choose CSV or JSON. The file includes every revealed contact field, with its source and date.

  2. Download invoices

Go to Settings → Billing and click Manage in Stripe. Download any invoices you need for your accounts.

  3. Save your compliance records

If you've logged data requests or consent records, download them from Settings → Compliance. You may need to show them to a regulator later.

Exports run in the background and you'll get a download link when the file is ready. Large workspaces can take a few minutes.

Cancel your plan

Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription immediately, without a refund for the rest of the period. If you'd rather use the time you've paid for, cancel first and delete at the end of the period. See Cancel your plan.

Unused credit packs are lost when the workspace is deleted.

Delete a workspace

Only owners can delete a workspace.

  1. Open workspace settings

Go to Settings → Workspace and scroll to Danger zone.

  2. Start the deletion

    Click Delete workspace.

  3. Confirm the name

Type the workspace's name exactly as shown to confirm you mean this one.

  4. Delete

    Click Delete workspace permanently.

What happens next:

  1. Everyone is signed out of the workspace, and sending stops at once: queued emails are cancelled and every sequence stops.
  2. Mailboxes are disconnected and their encrypted credentials are erased.
  3. API keys and webhook endpoints stop working.
  4. The workspace's data is removed from the live database right away and from backups within 30 days, when those backups expire.

The workspace's audit log is deleted with it. We keep only the billing records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, for as long as tax rules require.

Delete your account

Deleting your account removes your profile, your sign-in and your membership of every workspace.

  1. Deal with the workspaces you own

If you're the only owner of a workspace, OmniLead asks you to choose for each one: make someone else an owner, or delete the workspace. You can do this from Settings → Members first, or during the next step.

  2. Open your profile

Go to Settings → Profile and scroll to Danger zone.

  3. Delete your account

Click Delete account, review the list of workspaces that will be affected, and type your email address to confirm.

  4. Confirm

Click Delete my account. You're signed out and your account is gone.

Workspaces with other owners carry on without you. Leads you owned and notes you wrote stay in those workspaces, shown as written by a former member.

What deletion doesn't cover

  • Emails you already sent stay in your mail provider and in recipients' inboxes. Delete them from your mailbox if you need to.
  • Data outside OmniLead, such as exports you downloaded or leads you copied into another tool, is yours to delete.
  • Global opt-outs stay in force. If someone removed themselves through the opt-out portal, that record protects them from every workspace, not just yours.

If you only want to stop paying

You don't need to delete anything. Cancel your plan and your workspace moves to Free at the end of the period, with all your data kept. You can upgrade again whenever you like.

Can I get a deleted workspace back?

No. Once deleted, a workspace can't be restored, even by support.

How do I delete data about one person?

Delete the lead, or log a deletion request if the person asked. See Respond to GDPR data requests.

Can I delete an account I can no longer sign in to?

Email support@omni.cloudgens.net from the account's email address and we'll verify it's you before deleting.
