Save searches and get alerts
Save a search with its filters, rerun it in one click, and get a weekly email when new matches appear.
A saved search stores a query and its filters under a name. Rerun it any time from the search page. On Growth and Agency, you can also turn on an alert that emails you new matches once a week.
Save a search
Set up the search
Run a search and set the filters you want to keep.
Click Save search
The button sits above the results, next to the filter count.
Name it
Use a name that says who's in it, such as "Seed funds, climate, US" or "Ops leaders at UK fintechs".
Choose alerts
Turn on Email me new matches weekly if your plan includes alerts. Click Save.
Saving a search doesn't cost credits. Saved searches belong to the lens you saved them in, so your Investors lens shows only investor searches.
Run a saved search
Open the Saved menu on the search page and pick a search. The query and filters are applied, and the first page loads as usual for 1 credit.
You can also run a saved search from the command palette: press ⌘ K and type its name.
Update or delete a saved search
- Update: run the search, change filters, then choose Save changes from the Saved menu. To keep both versions, choose Save as new.
- Rename or delete: open the Saved menu, hover the search and click the menu icon.
Teammates see saved searches that you share with the workspace. Searches are private to you unless you choose Share with workspace when saving.
Alerts for new matches
Available on GrowthAn alert reruns your saved search each week and emails you the results that weren't there last time.
- What counts as new: an organization or person that didn't match the search at the previous run, for example an investor with a new Form D filing, a newly posted grant, or a company whose team page added someone with your target title.
- What's in the email: up to 25 new matches with name, organization and role, plus a link to see all of them in OmniLead. Contact details stay masked.
- When it's sent: once a week, on the day you created the alert.
Alerts don't use credits. When you open the results in OmniLead, loading pages and revealing contacts cost credits as usual.
Turn alerts on or off
Open the saved search menu
On the search page, open Saved and hover the search.
Toggle the alert
Click Email me new matches weekly to turn it on or off.
To stop every alert at once, go to Settings → Notifications and turn off Saved-search alerts. Each alert email also has a link to turn off that alert.
If you move to a plan without alerts
If your workspace moves to Free or Starter, your saved searches stay and still run on demand, but weekly emails stop. Turn alerts back on after you upgrade; they aren't deleted.
