Acceptable use policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
OmniLead exists to help people reach others who are likely to want to hear from them. This policy covers what that rules out.
1. The short version
Send relevant, honest messages to professionals in their work capacity, make it easy to stop, and stop when asked. Don't use OmniLead to spam, harass, deceive or break the law. This policy is part of our Terms of service.
2. Email and outreach
You must not:
- Send spam: bulk, untargeted or irrelevant messages, or messages to purchased or scraped lists you can't justify.
- Use false or misleading From names, reply-to addresses or subject lines, or hide who you are.
- Remove, disable or obscure unsubscribe links or headers, or keep emailing people who opted out or are suppressed.
- Send to Canadian recipients without a consent record, or to countries your workspace policy blocks, by working around OmniLead's checks.
- Use a fake or someone else's postal address to satisfy the postal-address requirement.
- Send phishing, malware, or links designed to collect credentials or payment details.
- Keep sending when bounce or complaint rates show a list is poor quality. OmniLead pauses campaigns at a 5% bounce rate; don't try to get around it.
3. Treating people fairly
- No harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation or repeated unwanted contact of any person.
- No contacting people about matters unrelated to their professional role, or at personal addresses you've obtained elsewhere.
- No processing or inferring special-category data (health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade-union membership) and no targeting people by demographic traits.
- No use of OmniLead for decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing or tenancy eligibility.
- No use to locate or monitor individuals, or for any purpose covered by consumer-reporting laws.
4. Illegal and harmful use
- No use that breaks the law, including anti-spam, privacy, securities, export-control or sanctions laws.
- No solicitation of investments in violation of securities laws, and no misleading claims about offerings.
- No content that is fraudulent, defamatory, infringing or discriminatory.
5. Protecting the platform
- No scraping, bulk-copying or reselling OmniLead data outside the export features we provide.
- No attempts to bypass credits, rate limits, plan limits or security controls, or to access other workspaces.
- No creating multiple accounts to get extra free credits or trials.
- Security research is welcome under our responsible disclosure policy.
6. Enforcement and termination
We monitor sending metrics such as bounces, complaints and unsubscribes. If we believe you've breached this policy we may, depending on severity and with notice where practical: warn you, lower your sending limits, pause campaigns, suspend your workspace pending review, or terminate your account without refund. Serious or repeated breaches, including spam that harms other customers' deliverability, may lead to immediate termination. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
7. Report abuse
If you received an unwanted email sent through OmniLead, use its unsubscribe link, which works immediately, and tell us at support@omni.cloudgens.net with the message headers. To remove your data from OmniLead altogether, use the opt-out portal.
